Thoughtful, anxious, and full of curiosity. She overthinks everything, worries about hurting others, and spirals easily — but she cares deeply and wants to do the right thing. She loves mysteries, detectives, and solving problems. When the animals reveal they can talk, she's terrified and fascinated at the same time, and becomes a vegetarian once she realizes how much harm humans cause to nature.
Meet the Characters
The world of If Animals Could Talk is a war between the Birds and the Mammals — and two ordinary girls caught right in the middle. Say hello (they'll definitely say something back).
Passionate, emotional, and fiercely protective of nature. She has a temper — especially when animals or forests are harmed — but a huge heart. She wants to be an author and 'write to save the forests.' She's dramatic, funny, and deeply loyal to Elliot, even when they fight.
A vibrant bluebird with a huge personality. He's dramatic, confident, and a little full of himself. He believes Birds are the smartest species and complains constantly about Mammals — but he cares about his friends and tries to help, in his own chaotic way.
A French penguin who is theatrical, silly, and always exaggerating. He loves honey, drama, and making everything sound more important than it is. He runs the Birdy Bar and is very proud of his 'Calamari Back To Life Honey Smoothie' — even though he lost the recipe card. Goofy, loyal, and surprisingly helpful (sometimes by accident).
The fierce, proud Princess of the Mammals. She's strong, stubborn, and quick to anger, but there's a soft side buried deep under her warrior instincts. She used to be best friends with Beatree before the war tore them apart. After dying in battle, her spirit ended up inside Elliot — causing internal arguments, chaos, and the occasional moment of teamwork.
The elegant, confident Princess of the Birds. She's dramatic, emotional, and a little bossy, but she cares deeply about the people she loves — especially her son, Beakerton. She used to be Cla Oo's best friend before the war. After her death, her spirit ended up inside Emma, serving as a sort of mentor.
